So why can the NMC OSCE still feel challenging?
Because experience and examination readiness are not exactly the same thing.

Don’t ignore the practical side of your exam journey
Candidates should also pay attention to administrative details.
The NMC states that candidates must present a valid passport for identity verification at a Test of Competence centre.
The OSCE fee listed by the NMC is currently £794, with a reduced £397 resit fee when seven or fewer stations need to be retaken.
Candidates should always check the NMC website for the latest fees and requirements before making financial or travel arrangements.
What happens if you do not pass?
A result that does not meet the required standard does not necessarily mean you must repeat the entire preparation process from the beginning.
The NMC states that unsuccessful candidates receive feedback identifying the stations and elements where they were unsuccessful, helping them prepare for a resit.
That feedback should become a study plan.
