District Nursing Continence Specialist Nurse Job at Oxford Health NHS Trust – Advance Your Community Nursing Career

Are you an experienced nurse looking to specialise in community continence care? Oxford Health NHS Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for a District Nursing Continence Specialist Nurse (Band 6) to join its dedicated community healthcare team. This 12-month fixed-term position is ideal for nurses who are passionate about improving the lives of patients living with bladder and bowel conditions.

Based at Abingdon Community Hospital, you will provide specialist continence assessments, evidence-based treatment, education, and ongoing support for patients in their homes and community settings. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will help individuals maintain their dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing while delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.

In this specialist role, you will also support community nursing teams by providing expert advice and training, contributing to service improvements, and promoting continence care in line with national guidelines. Applicants must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle to travel within the community.
